In early 2006, PSO-World celebrated its fifth anniversary by holding a number of contests. The main contest was a lottery where people could redeem tickets by finding red boxes on random pages of the site. In addition, there was a Fan Artist contest with six categories. Finally, there was a special maze race in Fresh Kills Landfill.
