Confused about GAS

I have a female Newman Masterforce, who I occasionally like to play as an Acrotecher and a Guntecher. I know that Newman have a racial cap of 15 abilities.

BUT: Does this racial cap apply overall to all advanced abilities, weapon and elemental proficiencies? Are they linked to your types, or your character overall?

Can I learn 15 different abilities for each type I play, or do I have to spread the 15 abilities between the three classes I enjoy playing on that character?

No, no, you misunderstand as well, I'm sorry for any confusion.

What I mean is that if I were to, for example, get five levels of the PA LVL+ for Longbows for use with my character as a Guntecher, upon changing back to Masterforce would those 5 levels take up space that I could be using for abilities that would be useful for Masterforce?

The Longbow PA LVL+ abilities would be useless for Masterforce, and take up 5 slots which could be used for more useful things. Couple that with any I wanted to learn for Acrotecher, and I'd run out of space pretty quickly!

Style customizations are learned for the character. You can equip one of each of the 3 styles at a time. You can change types and use them immediately.

Type customizations are learned to the type itself. Four categories of abilities with differing caps based on race. Each type can be customized to the full limit. Stuff learned on one type is only learned for that type.

I was worried I would have to make a new character to make the most of Guntecher and Acrotecher while my main stayed as a Masterforce, but this is good news.
