Longbows hit 50%, crossbows still have not been posted. I will edit this when I find the link to the screenshot of longbows that was posted in this thread.

No change to ATA or effect level, only ATP gets a +1% to ATP at lvl 41, according to the Japanese wiki.

That's awesome. I just noticed that my resta will be able to hit lvl 41 and same with my buffs as a GT!

PALV+ does not currently affect technic weapons. AFAIK, there is no way to increase your attack or support technics using the current system. If you found information that proves otherwise, please update your post. I have yet to read anything that proves technics are affected.

EDIT: Also, PALV+ caps at +10 of your current PA level. This means that a GT would never be able to go above 20 striking as their current cap is 10 (10 current striking cap + 10 from PALV+ = 20 updated PA level cap).

Yeah, same here. As it looks now the best option is to get machineguns and crossbows to 42 for the small elemental % bonus, longbows to 50 (they are NICE!!), and twin handguns to 42 or above. As Hikai is getting a damage increase to the first part of the PA I'm not convinced that there is a reason to invest into striking. You could even take laser cannons to 42+ just for the 50% elemental modifier. I am curious to see if updated Longbows will out-DPS Twin Handguns though. If so, twin handguns are officially dead for every class that is not an Acro type (I guess Fighgunner can use them too).
