    Default Crossbows vs Cards

    I plan on doing GT soon and I would like to know from all of you which of the two weapons I should use. Should I use crossbows or should I use cards?

    I'd go with crossbows. They're like a mini-shotgun once you level your bullets up. Not sure about the damage and elemental % mods, though... it's been a while since I last played FG, lol. ^_^;

    I also use Crossbows over Cards. Machineguns (which I also use) are better DPS than either weapon, but Crossbows are hard to beat when it comes to Status Effects.

    I'd go with the Crossbows as well because they fire slightly faster than Cards, have a higher status effect level (@ 21+), and you can use S-ranks. Crossbows are also better for crowd control.

    I dunno, I find that Cards work better on single target enemies. I use Crossbows to control enemies and for SEs.

    I'd use both on GT, honestly.

    @ lvl 40:
    Crossbow = 155% ATP; 60% ACC; 18% Elemental; SE 3
    Card = 170% ATP; 70% ACC; 29% Elemental; SE 2

    For the most part, Cards do more damage, but only to ONE target. Keep in mind with the supplemental update, Crossbows do NOT gain any extra ATP every level after 40. I'm not sure how it works for Cards (since I havent seen pics), but Cards do gain 33% Elemental at 41.

    Crossbows are much better for dealing SEs though, which can sometimes do more damage (like Burn and Virus).

    I'd say any good GT should learn to use both. If not, then Crossbows atleast (since they can be used as a replacement for Cards).

    Cards - high damage against single target, decent range, easy to hit and to control your target. Very fast and easy to level and just look attractive :3
    Crossbow - best SE spreader and tool for crowd control. Damage is lower, useless for bosses, little annoying to level and absolutely worthless before 21 pa lvl. Tuma has flashy bullet effect, so you can use it to annoy people XD
    I'd say use both (i certaily do), but if you really must choose, go with crossbow (especially ice, fire and dark) for crowd control and SE.

    Cards have a long travel time regardless of how far the target is...
    if A and B start to attack with crossbow and card at the same time, A would be 1-2 volleys ahead of B for damage done... cards would eventually catch up but before the target dies? I dunno.
