Whats your favorite Videogame Series?

For me, I'd probably have to say the Devil may cry series, have and played them all except four, but to no exception I'm sure it'll be another great. Alot of great fighting, great story with style and flare, and each sequal I played keeps getting better(to some games, thats not always the case :/). I'm Planning on getting dmc4 when I get a new pc.They also did a anime off the series which was pretty good, but I'm getting off track here lol.I do have others:Final fantasy,tales series, super smash, but just wanted to focus on the one.

As for everyone else, I'd like to hear their favorite series, hear your thoughts on it and maybe I'll go pick it up later

I think thats a hard thing to say because you may like a particular game in a series but not the series in particular. For the most part as games progress in a certain series they tend to lose qualities that originally attracted you in the beginning such as the Silent Hill, Legacy of Kain, and Resident Evil series. There is also the fact that there are new franchises and IP's that have come about as of recent that people may not consider them series yet since there are still too few games of that series. Such as the Modern Warfare series. 2 isn't out yet but I know I'm gonna love it and I don't really consider it a series yet. Same thing for Bioshock.

For me however it's pretty easy.
