i beat it so hard that heaven's mother cried all the way home.

Still no super hard mode.

I'm afraid I've got to find that damn bakery again.

The only other time I heard of this happening to a person (beating all the quests and hard mode tower, not counting the bakery one) is either it was not done on the same character, or the game is not an official copy aka download cart thing. =/ If it is an official game cart then ya...I wouldn't know.

Turns out I hadn't beaten the I love Ruins quest, though the new marker was no longer there.

I just went through and beat all the sidequesty type missions again until I figured out which one I missed.

Then, of course, no sooner than unlocking super hard on single player and starting a quest I found the bakery again. Lucky me.

bosses have no, or very little, evasion. you can't miss them.
