In The Groove, DDR, Or any dance/rhythm games

So, I only it played In The Groove twice so far... (its similar to DDR, known as Dance Dance Revolution, but hopefully you already know that) ... and I am only on Medium right now.

I want to get better, and want to know who else plays ITG/DDR or Similar Dance/Rhythm games and that also goes to Psoworld.

Hey if you don't play it or haven't played it (at all or in some time) its no biggie. You can still discuss ITG/DDR and other dance games.

I'm also going try entering Tournaments for this as well. Right now I'm going to try a Standard Tournament, and try get to hard, and practice on that. : D

Hello Names Carlos. I use the tag Los! on the machines when I can. You won't see much of my tag, yet. I got into ITG thanks to my friend Rin. I would like to improve on my stamina and footing, while learning more about the technicalities of ITG so I may construct techniques/strategies. I have only played twice so far, and am at medium difficulty now. I do want to press on to hard and see what I can do from there. I played at Coventry Mall, and I will be practicing at Strikes also.

I make PIU simfiles.
Only one guy has put my stuff in his PIUpro (essentially, ITG) machine.

I play the other rhythm games, like IIDX and pop'n music.

OH sweet. That was nice. DDR and ITG are the only dance games I have played so far. : D

People still play dance games? That's pretty nostalgic. The only rhythm games I see frequently are Taiko no Tatsujin and if it's a big arcade, the various Mania games. Sometimes even Pop'n Music.

Just Dance is pretty wonky, it only reads you by the movement of a single wii remote, and the accuracy is very touchy and sporadic. Sometimes it works perfectly, sometimes it doesn't register a damn thing.

I've played DDR/ITG since 2000, but I'm not very good anymore. I'm just getting back to the point where I can consistently pass most of the 10's on Supernova. Still have trouble with PSMO and Max 300 SMMMH/O.

It sucks that the DDR scene in Dayton is pretty much dead, and I don't want to drive to Columbus 3-4 times a week just to play DDR.
