What will you start with for PS:P2?

@Wayu: Thanks for giving me some hope. I can't deny that I loved HUnewm's EVP back in PSZ, and I'm glad that I'll still have that (at least, I'm assuming it's EVP you're refering to, newmans don't usually have that much defense to be able to be invincible through that).

A VAnewm would have good EVP, I don't know if it's any where near as good as VAmar though, only 2/10 attacks actually hit a high level VAmar.

About Deband, as a Vanguard you can only use level 2 Deband (up to PA level 20). Ranger and Hunters can use level 2 (up to PA level 15), and Force, level 3 (up to PA level 30). PA level doesn't affect the strength of deband unless it hits 11 or 21.

Also, I thougth that Newmans had the highest EVP. That's how it was in PSZ, at least. And also, this sucks for Newman. All they had going for them was MST and EVP. And MST is nearly useless for non-FOs.

EDIT: According to the PSU stat calculator (and PSP2 is based on PSU) Newmans do have better EVP. *Sighs in relief.* So if you only get hit by about 20% of attacks... I'll be getting hit even less. Finally, some good news.

Humans have the highest EVP in PSP2. It's much higher than other classes too. Humans also have good MST for Resta/Grants; just about the only two remarkable techniques.

EDIT: I'm VERY sure Humans have the best EVP... Someone needs to correct me if I'm wrong!

I added an edit to my last post, but if you're true than that's just messed up. Humans already had enough things to make them better than newmans, then they steal our only advantage in melee? That's just wrong. Plus, their taking the good out of the one class we did well. *Punches wall.*

EDIT: My CL 200 VAmar (TL 30) has base EVP of 591. Does anyone have a CL 200 VAnewmearl (TL 30) to compare stats?
With a Rabol Sesta it goes up to 836.

2nd EDIT: Max VAmar is 591, Max VAnewmearl is 619. It's very close and I don't think it'll make a difference -- but I was wrong =). I had a max VAnewm before and it really didn't feel like the EVP was the same, so maybe males have less.

I can go find out, but I think a VAnewm should also have enough EVP to block as much as a VAmar does.

Rabol Sesta is the best (and rarest) armour in the game, I don't think it'll be present in the USA version... it requires you to play over and over on a download mission. It is a part of a set that couples with the Lavis weapons (Double=Cannon for example).

OT: The only thing I don't have is the Double Hyakkuran (or whatever it is), there's no way I'm getting all titles!

(The Rabol Elu and Elusenba have better stats on their own).

Hyakkaryolan is Twin Sabers. Izuna mentioned all titles, so I assume he means Ten'imusou, which is a 15* Double Saber that looks like Gekkabijin/Shippujinrai stuck end-to-end (the swords which are collectively Hyakkaryolan).

I find that Newman BR is decent, very rare you get hit. I dropped the class though because I thought they suffered quite a bit when they DID get hit. I run my Newman Female as a Hunter. I take a lot more hits, but have a lot more HP and I can use some really damaging weapons easier (Sword, Spear etc). I just miss having EX traps

For my BR, I run a Beast Female. The only thing that touches her is Tech attacks, which hurt a lot. Physical attacks barely ever land on her.
