Yeah I remember that about the arms too, which is why I laugh at people that pitch a fit about breaking them. Not to say one *shouldn't* do so, but still not worth having an aneurysm over.

the way drops work is that the server checks for each tier of drops for each slot, so you have the game first rolling for 12*, then 11*, then 10* and so on; was detailed ages ago in some mag/guidebook

Yes, I was going to say something along these lines too but didn't have the source on hand. If you're not getting a *12, you're getting a meseta. All the meseta on the ground, they are "coulda-been" *12s , *11s and *10s.
