Skillet is actually a Christian rock band. I'm not a fan because they're Christian, but because they ROCK!
A couple others I'd recommend would be Pillar, RED (these two are Christian too, but they're really good), Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Shinedown, Creed, Papa Roach, or Sick Puppies.
If you don't mind heavier stuff, try All That Remains, Bullet for My Valentine, Killswitch Engage, Avenged Sevenfold, or Dead by April.
Lately, I've been listening to [on my mp3 player] a playlist of Three Days Grace, Sick Puppies, All That Remains, Killswitch Engage, Skillet, and Pillar. I personally love Dead by April and All That Remains the most, but I have only 1 song by ATR, and none by DbA (because they're Swedish, and not very famous there, either), so I listen to that usually.
