I'm not sure as to your first question, though I imagine it has something to do strictly with the length that this person in question has been around.
As for the second, I haven't paid for my G-license in about 7 months, and I can still log in so...shh don't tell SEGAC.

More likely to end service than be free. But if that time comes, you may get a free month, like PSU PC/PS2 servers did and PSO:BB English/NA/EU/etc. did.

Also, I believe the supplemental update for 360 added Free Course, so you can log in without paying, you just can't do a lot of stuff like get Casino coins, go to your rooms, trade stuff with people...

I don't play my ps tripple muchI have a few more just didn't add them. It can't autotrack PS3 games like everything else, such a hassle!
And I am indeed playing PSYOU. Was doing Episode 2 story and some of Episode 3.
