    Ok, I happened to stumble across some of the original screenshots and trailers of PSU. I found a lot of things to be... interesting.

    What the heck is De Ragnus doing at Raffon?

    This chick shows up a lot. Who is she? Why did she get cut out?

    These are from the opening, where concept art scrolls by. Appears to be the original sketches of Beast's Nanoblasts. Male on the left, female on the right. However, these are immediately followed by:

    More concept art. Different types of rods we didn't end up getting.


    Gibarta, anyone? She's also casting it with her hand. Not the rod.


    Mirei's Rod is hawt.

    AS for ethan, i still think hes cool, but that pic makes him look like hes taking it there.
    as for your frist pic...why is ethan takin on Gohmons in Raffon???

    Chick with the horns became Karen.
    The cast became Magashi.
    I guess Leo's' "sister" became his partner.
    Ethan got a haircut.
    I'm guessing they had to stick with just 1 beast form in the concept drawing.
    as for everything else tho, these thing usually happen when finalizing a game.

    I had forgotten about that trailer. Yeah, those original designs seem to me to have a great deal more of the old-school PS feel to them, particularly the first female. Thanks for posting these!

    Niiiice, i would've prefered the wands/rods to look like that. Photon katana just about made me drop my jaw

    looks like their model work improved a lot since then . there's just something wrong with those original models, style wise. I like the way Ethan looked then, but Leo and Tonnio (personality works better as a guy ) look a TON better now. From what it showed it looked like they intended Nanoblasting to be like the beast things in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (forgot their name, been to long since i played it). That Beast and CAST are fighting in the opening of the final to
