Thread: AotI: Illuminus's offline story (SPOILERS)

I made a new topic as this contains not just movies but also allows full discussion of offline story mode without filling up page upon page with spoiler tags.

As I complete them and upload them, I'll provide the new custcenes, which really flesh out the story much more than was originally available with online's version.

Story missions work just like online, A B C with same level restrictions, you do get items for S ranking them, but no idea what all you can get and not that interested in finding out. Free missions now have C, B, A ranks as well.

All story related cutscenes have all chat voiced over, and facial expressions along with mouth movements during conversations. The mouth was apparently programmed to move based on the text the character said instead of the sound coming from the voice, as it will continue to 'talk' if that section of the conversations has ... at the end. lol

Characters start out a little better equipped (My beast starts out with 3 PAs, one of which is the ultimate saber PA) and they get the option of the tutorial that most people are familiar with online.

The tutorial skips things like lobby diamonds, because those aren't on the offline mode, but it goes over how Just Attack and Just counter work.

Its restriceted much like offline story was, where you could only go to certain places at the start, and things open up as you go. All the options of lumilass that are in AoI are available offline as well, though I haven't had the meseta to do much shopping yet. There aren't any lobbies for the free missions. Once you complete them it sends you back out to the city.

Youtube probably makes the subtitles illegible, but the voices should be enough to understand whats going on, as I'm too lazy to translate everything word for word.

And thats it! No more chapters! Time to go level up a spiffy PA and check to see if theres any additional special missions.

Facial expressions on the characters even have surprised and confused type images. I asumme those faces are available online as well, but haven't messed too much with lobby actions yet.

Are the weapon stats of offline mode like the ones in offline v1 or online v1? You know really low pp but higher ATP. I hope they are like online v1 because being a ranger sucks offline in v1.

it doesn't suck u just have to have lots of weapons, specially dual weaponry, like sabers and xbow and such (xbow caps so fast offline compared to other PAs o.o) Anyway if online is much better than v1 I'll be happy.

Seems like it was in offline, except guns get 4 pp a tick, while melee still gets 1.

Also, after beating the first chapter, and unlocking neudaiz, I saw a mission name I didn't recognize, so I went to go check it out...

I wish I could take out dimmas that easily in game...............................
