Rare enemies suck.

I've found like.. 7 in the 160 or so hours I've played, and the best rare I got from one was a Final Impact. They only thing they are good for is EXP. And looking cool. 2 Hildeblues, 2 Nar Lilies, 2 Mil Lilies, and an Al Rappy.

and sweet drops...sometimes. A little over half the time for most of them they'll drop a rare, which is more often than not sweet, but hey, i've seen 18 pal rappies and not one has dropped me the real agito so i can sympathize http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

lol...in about 180 hours or so I've been playing (times combined for 3 characters) I've seen maybe 4 rare enemies...each time it was a Nar lilly...well..except for a lone Al Rappy. But I got a Dragon/HP each time...they were good in the beginning...but now that I'm in Ultimate they're commonplace. And then I stood guard over the AL Rappy, and I hit him and I got stupid meseta.

Allwell...I've been lucky with getting good rares of some of the normal enemies...so I guess it MIGHT even out...

Are Al Rappies for ORAN on normal mode supposed to drop HP Mats? Because both Al Rappies in one hour of playing time dropped Hp Mats... I was just a little ticked because my FOmar needs summin better than that. Maybe a God/Mind or God/Ability...heh, G/A rules.

Rare enemies are cool. The nice ones drop cool stuff. I've got a Guard Wave, Perfect Resist, and an awesome club +3 from rare enemies. By the way, I'm just joking about the "AWESOME" club+3.

I encounted all the rare enemies at least once (and sadly enough only once except for doing the Fake in Yellow thang) with my 3 main characters all together. I was sad when a Hildetorr droped nothing for me. NOTHING!! URGH!! Still nightmares to this day!

I've must have killed like 20 or so random rare enemies, which almost all have givin' me nothing but money, which I must say IT'S A LOAD OF CRAP!!!!!

Total rare critters found: 88
Total special items received: 47
Special item drop percentage: 53.41%

As a guesstimate I'd say about 75% of the ones that didn't drop a special item were on Ultimate mode. Not including units, the stars on a weapon/armor are usually a good indication on how difficult it is to find. For example: it took 1 rare critter to get a Windmill (10-stars), 10 rare critters to get an Angel Harp (11-stars), and 12 rare critters to get a Psycho Wand (12-stars).

1) You're not going to get God/Anything on Normal mode. ^ ^

2) Yes HP mats are a common Oran drop for Al Rappies in normal mode.

3) In 400+ hours of playing Oran well into Ultimate mode, I haven't had a God/Unit drop yet. I had to acquire mine through trades or through friends.

Rare enemies hate me. The best I've ever gotten was a Guard Wave. Next would be a Star Amp. Beyond that, I've gotten utter crap from rare enemies.

I found a Hildetorr like my second time through ult forest and I was 80. He killed me once with megid. The rest of the time i was luring the bartles off so I could take the Hildetorr alone. I killed him, and got a trap vision....whoo-hoo, could've at least dropped me a mat...oh well, at least my Delsaber combo is better than the red saber I should got.

Rare enemies are fun. Even if you are bored and run into one, at least I do, I get excited. I get pumped up for a bit. I've got a pretty good tally going for rare enemies so far. Too bad they only have honestly dropped common rares for me. The best thing to drop from a rare enemy was Hildeblue, and I got two back to back in a run and both dropped Custom Frame ver.00. I love pal rappies. Me being GREENILL and all. The easiest enemy to telepipe trick gives me an 11 star GUARD WAVE.

remember, they are called 'rare enemies' for a reason. not to mention, they dont always drop rares. the rarer the item it has, the lower the chance it will drop anything. took me 14 pal rappies to get my 1975 agito in pinkal, but 1 pal rappy to get my star amplifier in oran. pinkal- 2 mil lillies and 2 caduceus, oran no mil lillies.

At least you found a rare monster, my other character is level 108, and i have only seen a Pal Rappy. Luckly it droped a 4 slot Guard Wave.

the only good rare ive found from a Al rappy was a red saber. and even thats not very good.

I've found a Demolition Comet from a Mil Lily, and an Asuka from a Crimson Assassin, but for the most part, I find nothing but cruddy amounts of meseta from the rare baddies.

ive noticed that the longer you play in one server the more chances you have of finding a rare wep. or critter. has any 1 elsa noticed this?
