Not a quickie, but a quckie.

http://server6.uploadit.org/files/Toldos-Toldosjpg.jpg

A quickly (for me) done picture of Toldos, graduating from the Monofluid Force Academy.

Just a mental picture, or at least, as close as I could get to it (and no, it wasn't that small, I resized it).

Tell me if the piccie doesn't show plz!

And yes, I stink at porportion, symmetry, and drawing/sketching as a whole... but I tried! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

he looks like a mule crossed with a guy.

My point? See if you can use skin color next time...

*shrugs*

Wasn't trying hard, and I can't draw/shade anyway.

I can sketch a mean building with a vanishing point tho.

Geez Sord, give Soltis a break. No need to be so harsh with him http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif.

Back on topic, that is nice Soltis http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif. Keep it up http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif !!

Er. I am not sure how much a critique you want on him.
Well. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
If you have trouble shading, you can always start with using monotones. Like, one pencil only. That will help you get the idea of light and darkness and make it easier to start out. (that's why they make you do still drawings!)

Hm. About shapes and proportions, you can take a look at real pictures, of works of your favourite artist, observe how the shapes are used and try to micmic it on your own. Slowly, you will grasp the idea and able to improve on your own style. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Keep working!

*Thinks*

Maybe I'll stick to writing and put learning how to draw to the side for a later date.

Projects:

1. Learn how to draw http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif
2. Learn how to write http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
3. Learn Photoshop http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif
4. Learn Dreamweaver http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif = not working out
http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif = well... duh.

*Throws his hands up in the air* It was just for a visual, people! *sobs*

Not too bad... The expression looks a little blank, and the shading needs some work, but you definitely have the ability to do great things with art. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
