there's an official forum?
http://forums.sega.com/forumdisplay.php?f=124
The PSU Boards specifically: http://forums.sega.com/forumdisplay.php?f=237
Also worth noting is that we're building up a brand new PSU skin now, and other unique skins for upcoming games. Sonic / Werehog is temporary.
After PSU, we'll also be updating the PS:Z board with its own skin too. Thanks for waiting all, and we hope you enjoy the new boards - it may take a little getting used to, but we hope you'll like all the new things they now offer, especially the custom avatars and images in signatures.
I'm expecting exactly what they're putting together - a horrible messy confusing vBulletin forum. The sigs and software are the reason I only come to psow when the official ones are down.
Images in signatures are the worst thing to happen to forums.
Ever.
vBulletin is the next worst, nothing is simple in it.
Just checked out the new set up and poked around a bit. All I can say is, if it wasn't broke, why did you try and fix it?
I can't even work out how to log in to the new forums. Register for a SEGA pass? How does it link to my old forum account?

To be fair, it was actually a little broken. The new forums have fixed a lot of things, though I agree that the aesthetic of the old board was a bit nicer (for PSU anyway) - that will change soon with the new skin. A couple things that are now improved:
- PM inbox function fixed (previously, you could receive messages from a different part of the SEGA boards, but would not see it in your inbox unless you logged into the board it was sent from.)
- Custom avatars
- Images in sigs
- Improved functionality
- Other cool magical admin stuff
Anyways, give it a whirl for a couple days and see what you like / don't like. We're also down for constructive feedback as we move forward, and the cool thing about Vbulletin is that we have a lot more freedom than with the old phpbb. Anything new takes a little getting used to.
